The Liverpool Sessions 6 w. Jo Bywater

We wrote this song years ago and hid it on a dusty shelf. To rediscover it now has been really special. We spent hours meticulously exploring every nook and cranny of where we could take the song. This is the first time anyone gets to hear our little secret.

Thanks to Jacaranda for lending us their venue to record in and thanks to Paula Stewart for making it happen. www.facebook.com/The-Jacaranda-Club-112256287792/

"The Liverpool Sessions" is a week long collaboration project between Grethe and her friends from the Liverpool music scene. These people inspired, challenged and made music magic with her. It was only natural to jam with them again when she visited the UK this summer."

"The Liverpool Sessions 3"

It wouldn't have been a real trip to Liverpool if I didn't get to play a few songs with my boys Tim Dale and Ian Riley. So we did 3! I'll post 2 more videos in the next days ;) We´ve played a gazillion gigs in Liverpool together. First as The Vinos and then as Get Her. "Me & the Barman" was probably one of our fave tracks to do live so we had to play it once more!

"The Liverpool Sessions" 2

Luke Moore plays cello like Casanova smooth talks women. When we got together to do this song, Luke said; " I play with my soul. It´s the only way to play." I couldn´t agree more. He put a personal stamp on "Sleep my Angel" that I have missed in past arrangements of the track. Luke also showed some extra skills on set giving the ol´camera a go and helped film when I couldn´t. Really don´t know what I would've done without him that day!

A big thanks to the Jacaranda in Liverpool for letting us film in their fab basement. If you´re craving an ice cold beer and groovy music, it´s the place to be! The Jacaranda Club

Francisco Carrasco is a powerhouse and we played this song live many times when we worked together as "Rebel at Sea".. To re-visit this song was a blast. Creating music with him always challenged me to think in new ways, dive out of my comfort zone with rhythm and it made me a better player.
